actually.. garmin could be set to use coordinates similar to mapking.. they have a few format, under settings->system->Location Format you can choose the following formats: 1. hddd.dddd 2. hdd mm.mmm' 3. hdd mm'ss.s" i jst choose the first.. which is same as the format mapking is using. easier to type too! Wahhhh ... this Garmin XT has got so much thigns to play wiht even in the settings!!!! Didn't knew that cos never did explored it but just used it to locate places. Now I know! Kee kee kee ..... very informative. Hmmm .. maybe also cos too lazy to dig up and read all the manual on Garmin XT usage. ;D ;D Looks like we have 2 Garmin sifu lio. HMM.. i think i know why it doesnt work. did you change your vehicle in the settings menu? go to settings->map->vehicles and you should be able to select your vehicles. here's a guide on how to do it on garmin's website Garmin Vehicles- How to Installhere's a full list of all vehicles you could install.. Garmin Vehicles- Full Listand this is the vehicle im using OR you can try installing Taiwan version of gMXT.. it has this function built-in.. (dont worry, i used taiwan version of 4.10.60 previously.. everything in english too.. except you can choose chinese too.. but by default, its in english.)

hmmmmm...... tried that method.... don't work...... OR you can try installing Taiwan version of gMXT.. it has this function built-in.. i don't even have the 'vehicle option wor... m using 4 20 50 latest for ppc just read in a spanish GPS forum, vehicles are NOT supported in PPC versions of GMXT yet.. probably need to wait for the new release.. as for symbian gmxt, it is available since 4.10.60 (now the latest version is 4.10.80) this is the changes in PPC's version of GMXT for PPC Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile software version 4.20.50w as of April 29, 2008
